The Ibanez K5 Fieldy 5 String bass guitar is a lightweight instrument made to Reggie "Fieldy" Arvizu´s specifications for his work in the band Korn. This is the fourth bass guitar in his collaborative signature series and continues to fulfil his need for an instrument capable of the lowest tunings and the most powerful tones for the heaviest styles of music. Featuring an active EQ with sweep-able mid-range control, this bass is capable of some serious tonal sculpting and range. The active IBZ ADX5N pickups ensure great clarity in low tunings, while the mahogany body with EB-7 bridge provides excellent resonance and sustain. This guitar is comfortably contoured and features a low-profile neck joint to ensure easy high-fret access, while the thin neck guarantees a fast playing feel. The K5 Fieldy is a lightweight and comfortable instrument, designed for the most powerful tones created by Korn.
