The Ibanez UB804 Fretless Bass, Mahogany Oil Burst is designed to give double bass players
access to a highly-portable electric upright instrument that can be packed down and loaded-in
with the minimum of fuss.
Featuring an AeroSilk Piezo pickup, the UB804 has a specially-modified amplified tone that
picks up every detail of your playing technique, whether bowed or plucked.
The pickup helps to balance the output levels, so you´ll always have a smooth dynamic level
and a full sound.
The minimal body and through-neck design comes with a TAMA stand, so you can easily get
set-up on stage with a small foot-print - ideal for cramped performance areas.
A mono-rail MR4 bridge gives optimal string stability and isolation, while the maple body with
maple/walnut neck helps to give the natural wood characteristics of an upright bass.
The 1/4 size 34´´ scale length is ideal for electric players making the transition to an upright
instrument, or for students just getting to grips with the double bass.
