Soundwaves and Sonatinas for piano - Sonja Otto

This book is a combination of own compositions as well as a modern interpretation of some traditional sonatinas. The technical challenges of the originals have been kept but the pieces sound more contemporary. In the process I did not stay true to the original form except for maybe one piece, but went along with inspiration. I played the pieces with many students, and they really like them. The pieces are of varying degrees of difficulty. For the easiest 2 years of dedicated pianoplaying is recommended. The aim was - like with the Easy Soundwaves – to create a book of dreamy and more popular sounding music that pupils will like but to also provide them with classical, technical skills. Please note that fingerings and pedal signs are only suggestions, there should not be too much pedal, so that the music still sounds clean. Have fun !
