The Ocean Turquoise Metallic colour was used by Ford on its Mustang model in 1962. It also made an appearance on the Mercury #M1731 car. it was used as a Custom Colour by Fender in the 60s on both Telecasters, Stratocasters and offset models like the Jaguar and Jazzmaster.
It can be described as a metallic bluish colour with greenish touches. Over time the green will be accentuated due to the yellowing of nitrocellulose. It is often combined with tortoise pickups and rosewood fingerboards. A beautiful color that leaves no-one indifferent.
